HERGEN on ABTCP 2018

Hergen, during its participation in the ABTCP 2018 - 51st International Pulp and Paper Congress and Exhibition, the sector's main event in Latin America last October, took the opportunity to strengthen the dialogue with clients and potential clients. The tissue, packaging and printing and writing paper manufacturers were able to update themselves on the technologies offered by the company. "We have been present at the Exhibition organized by ABTCP for more than 25 years, because we believe very much in the potential of this meeting with the professionals who make up the paper industry", points out Vilmar Sasse, commercial coordinator of Hergen.

Among the equipment that are part of Hergen’s portfolio currently, stand out those of the Tissue segment. "In addition to recent startups, such as the new Mili machine last June, and the updating of a Copapa machine, which has started last October, we are about to start a new Canoinhas machine," says Sasse regarding some of the projects carried out by Hergen during this year.

The packaging segment, however, does not remain behind in Hergen's business focus. "By the end of this year, we will accompany the startup of a machine with a production capacity of 300 tons of packaging paper. All technologies that Hergen offers - Starch Applicators, Carbon Steel Dryer Cylinders, Hoods, Double Formers, Headboxes with optimized concept and presses with the possibility of including shoes - are part of this machine, which will be one of the fastest and most modern in the national market, "says Sasse. The expectation of economic recovery in 2019 promises to bring more positive news in the coming months , not only with regard to the expansion of capacity from new machines, but also from the modernization of existing plants in the segment.

The optimistic perspective on the economic scenario and the reheating of the demand for paper makes Hergen continue to act in a competitive way, offering technological and service differentials. "We have added professionals with extensive market experience to our team in order to join efforts and meet the different demands of our customers in the best way," says Sasse on another strategic front of the company.
