Hergen supplied to Klabin during the last Annual Shutdown of Otacílio Costa Unit (SC), three drying cylinders manufactured in welded Carbon Steel construction, with Ø of 1.522 mm x 5.055 mm face length.
The cylinders were designed to work up to 11 bar of saturated steam pressure and speed up to1.000 m/min.
Advantages of the project:
Estimated increase of 7.5% in the drying capacity of the Paper Machine
Increased availability of the machine due to the reduction of sheet breaks generated by the condensate leakage between shell and heads
