HERGEN is pleased to announce the delivery of an EcoFiber HRT from its stock Refiner line to SOPASTA, a paper and packaging mill located in Tangará, Santa Carina State - Brazil. This equipment was purchased with the aim of meeting the company's growing production demands, offering high efficiency and low energy consumption.
EcoFiber HRT technology
The EcoFiber HRT Stock Refiners represent a new concept in low-consistency refining for the treatment of virgin or recycled fibers. Designed to optimize electricity consumption and improve fiber treatment, these Refiners are equipped with refining plates that results in 4 refining faces and low energy intensity, which guarantee more effective refining. Its flexible design allows the use of plates form 32“ to 40” and it is prepared to receive automation for refining current monitoring and control.
In addition, the Refiner features:
• Fixed shaft and splined hub connection system;
• Temperature sensors for roller bearings monitoring;
• Electronic pressure transmitters for stock inlet and outlet, as well as for the cooling water;
• Stainless steel cladding on the external rings of the Refiner housing cover and body, ensuring greater durability and resistance;
• Electromechanical system for adjusting of the distance between discs which allows the distance between the fixed discs and rotors to be adjusted, keeping a constant pressure.
Quick disc change system
With an integrated device, the EcoFiber HRT Refiner offers a quick and safe disc change system, allowing for:
• Saving time on maintenance and disks changing;
• Greater safety for operators, minimizing the risk of accidents during the process.
