Last August 12th, HERGEN attended the Pioneers' Night, a formal event celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Rio do Sul Commercial and Industrial Association (ACIRS). The ceremony brought together leaders, businesspeople, and individuals who made significant contributions to strengthening associationism as well the economic and social development of the Alto Vale do Itajaí region.
HERGEN was honored by Mr. Germano Purnhagen, who chaired HERGEN for decades and ACIRS between 2000 and 2004. His tenure at the organization was marked by significant achievements in regional infrastructure, such as coordinating investments for the construction of a new electricity transmission line, a project supported by 40 institutions, and the initiation of negotiations for the implementation of the SC Gás natural gas pipeline.

The recognition of Mr. Germano's legacy was received on stage by his daughter and HERGEN's CFO, Monica Purnhagen, who represented the family and HERGEN in a moment of emotion and pride.

Throughout its 50 years, HERGEN is proud to contribute to the region's growth and to be part of the history of an organization that has been synonymous with association and progress for eight decades.
