HERGEN participated in the XXXIV Congreso Internacional & ExpoAcotepac 2026, held on February 25th, 26th, and 27th at the Salón Ritz of the Dann Carlton Cali Hotel, in Cali, Colombia. The event brought together leading industry executives and decision-makers from Colombia, Central America, and South America to discuss trends, innovation, sustainability, and competitiveness. HERGEN’s presence reinforced its role as a strategic partner to the paper industry across Latin America.
During the exhibition, HERGEN was present at booths #50 and #78, presenting solutions focused on operational efficiency, energy optimization, modernization of tissue and packaging machines, and improved industrial reliability and performance. The company’s technical and commercial team was available to welcome customers, partners, and industry professionals interested in learning more about technologies and strategies that drive sustainable operational results.
Technical Presentation
In addition to participating in the exhibition, HERGEN also took part in the technical program of the conference. On February 26 (Thursday), Marcelo Silveira dos Santos delivered the presentation “Sustainability and Efficiency in Tissue Machines", addressing how the integration of engineering, technology, and energy management can generate measurable gains in energy consumption, machine performance, and competitiveness in the tissue manufacturing sector.
