HERGEN, one of the largest manufacturers of paper machines in Latin America, is taking another step forward in its history of innovation and commitment to the future: the creation of the HERGEN Professional Technical Center (CTec HERGEN), currently in the final stage of construction.

The CTec HERGEN was created with the purpose of training young talents as industrial technical professionals, prepared for the challenges of the metalworking industry, offering hands-on, highly specialized training aligned with the real needs of the market.

According to Professor Edson Adriano Porto, responsible for the CTec HERGEN training plan, the general competency of the course is: “To work in an integrated way in manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, fabrication, and the assembly of machinery and equipment, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of mechanical projects, performing activities in accordance with technical norms, quality standards, occupational health and safety requirements, and current environmental legislation.”

“We want to train industrial technical professionals who can work directly on the production line with specialized technical knowledge and a solid professional attitude. It is a contribution both to HERGEN and to the development of industry in the region,” says Luciano Bento, Production Manager at HERGEN.
