More quality and productivity
The company Santher - Fabrica de Papel Santa Therezinha S/A - will upgrade its PM4, aiming to increase the productivity of the machine and improve the profile of the sheet.
The current speed of the machine is 1,400 m/min. In a first phase the speed will increase to 1,650 m/min and in the second phase it can reach 2,000 m/min.
To achieve these goals:
The current Inbox will be replaced by an Hergen Headbox Avantis model, designed to work up to 2,200 m/min.
The current press will be replaced by a Hergen Suction Press with a diameter of 1,200 mm.
