Precautions in pandemic times

For the well-being of its employees, their families and society as a whole, and following the advice of the competent agencies, Hergen interrupted its activities for two weeks, starting on March 23

As of April 6, we are resuming our activities, while adopting a number of preventive measures

Preventive measures

Reduced contact with external stakeholders, such as customers and suppliers

Cancellation of our employees’ trips

Time off based on accumulated overtime and vacation for employees over 60 years of age and others in the risk group

Administrative, engineering and commercial departments reorganized to work on a home office basis

Reorganization of lunch hours in order to reduce the number of people in the cafeteria at the same time

Limited seating in the cafeteria to increase the distance between people

Internal prevention campaign

Providing all employees with a pamphlet, in paper and electronic format, containing detailed instructions about precautions to be taken when leaving home, at work and when arriving home. It also includes emergency contacts for each sector and advice on what to do in case of symptoms of Covid-19

Detailed personal hygiene instructions regarding washing hands, arms and work utensils

Posters in all bathrooms about the right way to sanitize hands

Alcohol gel dispensers available in all areas of the company

Banners in all sectors of the company, with instructions on preventive conduct
