HERGEN participated in two important technical meetings focused on energy efficiency, technological innovation, and operational sustainability.

Webinar addresses energy savings in paper machines

On April 7th, industry professionals were able to attend the webinar “Energy Savings and Efficiency in Paper Machines”, held online by ABTCP Sectoral University (US ABTCP), a new concept in education for the paper industry, with the mission of delivering practical and innovative content.

During the meeting, HERGEN application engineers Marcelo Santos and Fernando Balen presented technological solutions, maintenance practices, automation, and energy recovery strategies. The content highlighted how these actions contribute to improving equipment performance, increasing productivity, and reducing operating costs, as well as making production processes more sustainable.

Seminar brings together industry experts

On April 8th, the seminar “Unveiling Operational Efficiency | 2nd Edition”, held in the city of Lages (state of Santa Catarina - Brazil), by the state Senai Institute, brought together experts and companies from the sector to discuss innovation, productivity and competitiveness in the industry, with the presentation of real cases and applied solutions.

One of the highlights of the program was the lecture “Efficiency with Purpose: HERGEN’s ESG strategy in action”, given by Wagner B. Cavalett, ESG manager and marketing coordinator of the company.

Cavalett presented how HERGEN, through ECOPerformance - its technology and engineering development program focused on industrial efficiency and sustainability - transforms ESG principles into concrete solutions for the paper industry.

This initiative brings together high-performance equipment, machine modernizations and process optimizations that allow for greater production with lower consumption of energy, water and fibers, reducing operating costs and environmental impacts.

Driving efficiency with environmental responsibility

By participating in initiatives like these, HERGEN reinforces its role as an active agent in the transformation of the paper industry, promoting knowledge, innovation, and solutions that drive energy and operational efficiency in a sustainable way.

We remain committed to developing technologies that connect industrial performance to environmental and social responsibility, contributing to a more efficient and conscious future.

HERGEN thanks all the professionals who participated in the events and attended the lectures, strengthening the exchange of knowledge and the advancement of the sector.
