New product
HERGEN has just developed a specific Rewinder for the production of thin strips used for manufacturing toilet paper roll cores.
The design took the specific needs of this application into account, resulting in an extremely efficient and versatile equipment.
Efficiency corroborated on start-up
The start-up took place in the first half of January, at Guapi Papéis, Guapimirim, RJ.
The Rewinder produced excellent quality, properly separated thin rolls, at a speed of 1,000 m/min.
The customer is very satisfied with the equipment’s performance, as it is meeting an important demand for the company.
Some features
As it is an off-machine Rewinder (installed separate from the paper machine production line), it is designed to be able to work with rolls of various diameters and widths (see data below).
The Unwinder is able to collect rolls from the factory floor and without Shafts.
To ensure the separation of the multiple cuts, the Rewinder is equipped with a Tandem system, which features two Bowed Rolls with curvature position adjustment and paper web wrap angle.
