HERGEN attended in the 30th International Conference and ExpoAcotepac 2022, organized by the Colombian Association of Technicians of the Pulp, Paper and Cardboard Industry (Acotepac), which took place from February 16 to 18 in Cali, Colombia.
This year's theme was: Challenges for the pulp, paper and cardboard industry in the global economic recovery.
HERGEN participation
It was an excellent opportunity to present HERGEN products and services – for both Tissue and Packaging paper – to this expanding market.
Over the years, Acotepac has been an important means of strengthening partnerships and making promising contacts.
Technical Lecture
Marcelo Santos, Senior Application and Sales Engineer at HERGEN spoke about
"Aspects for analyzing the efficiency of a Rewinder".
He explained that when the paper machine's capacity is increased, simply increasing the Rewinder's speed may not be the best choice.
The analysis of the Rewinder must be much deeper and detailed and often leads to the conclusion that a new Rewinder should be considered, as it brings much better results.
