Quality and production increase
Hergen will work on the TM2 modernization for Głuchołaskie Zakłady Papiernicze Sp. Z.O.O. (GZP), tissue paper manufacturer in the city of Głuchołazy, Poland.
In this 1st phase, the machine will reach 1,000 m/min and in a future 2nd phase, it shall reach 1,300 m/min.
The project aims at increasing the machine’s production and raising the manufactured paper quality, even making it possible to produce paper in lower grammages.
For this 1st phase, the current TM2 Flat Table is being replaced by a Crescent Former Hergen, model Smart HCF920, which has a iNOVAFLOW Hydraulic Headbox.
The Crescent Former installation enables increased machine speed, improves the formation, the transversal profile, and the sheet softness, in addition to saving energy, clothing, and fibers.
The current Dry-Press Roll is being replaced by a Suction Press Roll, equipped with Gutter and Double Scraper, which increases the dry content of the sheet and improves the moisture profile.
Engineering of the new Approach Flow is included in the delivery.
