Two important events
Tissue World Miami 2022 took place from March 16-18. The Tissue Summit 2022 was held on March 30th and 31st in São Paulo.
For HERGEN, returning to these major events – interrupted for two years – was an excellent opportunity to present its solutions and make strategic contacts.

Besides being an exhibitor, HERGEN has participated in the event's program.
Marcelo Santos, Senior Application Engineer at HERGEN, discussed about "New concepts of cost-effective drying for tissue paper".
The presentation featured an indication of the main costs for the manufacture of tissue papers showing some alternatives for its manufacturing in a more economical way.
The main topic of the work is a hood that works, in its wet end with hot air heated in an air/air heat exchanger by the gases from the mill boiler, and in its dry end with a canopy hood, resulting in a system hood/YD with low specific steam consumption, which reduces considerably the production costs.
