During last May, PAPERA REYES, a company located in Callao, Peru, started up its new tissue machine for the production of high-quality paper.
The star-up was very successful. The machine produced sellable paper since its first jumbo roll.
The start-up puts REYES on a new level in the Peruvian tissue paper market.
The success of the project was even more remarkable as it took place during the challenges still generated by the coronavirus pandemic.
Taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all people involved, REYES once again showed its ability to overcome challenges and successfully completed this great undertaking.
The machine - supplied by HERGEN - is the EVO 12 model, with Crescent Former HCF 1225, Suction Press Roll Ø 1,050 mm, Ribbed Steel Yankee Dryer Ø 3,660 mm (12'), Duo System Gas Hood.

High performance hydraulic Pope Reel with automatic reel spool collecting system, progressive NIP control during jumbo roll formation and operational mode with automatic change over.
